Government Funded Security Courses

Security Courses

After much public consultation, Queensland legislation now requires that this Responsible Management of Licensed Venue (RMLV) training be mandatory for all licensees and applicants for managers licenses.

Drug and Alcohol Testing
This course is required to meet all of the legal requirements for workplace drug testing in accordance with the Australia / New Zealand Standards. It applies to individuals working in places such as mine sites where drugs of abuse testing takes place.
RSA Online

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) ONLINE
Last year over 75% of the Queensland industry successfully completed their approved Government RSA qualification online. Courses are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week allowing you to learn at your own pace at a time which suits you.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
All new staff involved in the service or supply of liquor throughout Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia must complete this Nationally Recognised course. This is a face-to-face course.

Responsible Gambling Online

Responsible Gaming Services ONLINE
The National Responsible Service of Gambling course became mandatory in Queensland on the 1st July 2013 for all people who carry out gaming duties or gaming tasks within a licensed club or hotel.

This new format includes the updated provisions for “Exclusion Provisions” plus the latest information regarding active management processes and venue reporting responsibilities in relation to responsible conduct of gambling.
Apply First Aid
This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to administer first aid to a casualty who has sustained an injury or illness.  This unit of competency is also a revalidation unit that crowd controllers must complete every 3 years.
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Based on the latest Health Services Training Package and has been designed using recommendations from the Australian Resuscitation Council. To ensure first aid currency this unit must be successfully completed every 12 months.
