From the 1st October 2010, it is mandatory for certain people involved in Queensland's gaming industry to have a current RSG course certificate. BARS Training
Australia is an approved trainer with the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) to issue this State Government qualification.
The session covers the following areas:

The context of responsible gambling

Understanding the Gaming Act and its regulations

Venue and staff responsibilities
-
How to deal with staff problem gamblers

Procedures to be followed in dealing with problem gamblers
Schedule of Training
The scheduled fee will be paid in full
on enrolment and prior to the
commencement of the training program.
All fees paid will be issued with an
acknowledgement receipt/tax invoice as
proof of receipt of monies paid. All
training will be conducted on premises
nominated and supplied by the client or
as arranged by BARS Training Australia.
The cost of this 4 hour session includes
the cost of all handouts and
accreditation.

$70 per participant (all inclusive) with all Gold Coast sessions being conducted by Garry Oliver who has over 29 years Queensland Police and Liquor Licensing experience. Pre-requisites
All participants should also have basic
language, literacy and numeracy skills
and are required to identify if they
require language, literacy and numeracy
support prior to enrolment.
Participant can also ask for language,

delivery if they find they are

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is
the acknowledgment of skills and
knowledge held by an individual as a
result of formal training, work
experience and /or life experience. If
you believe that you already possess
some or all of the learning outcomes
contained in this course and you can
demonstrate current competency, then you
can apply for RPL. To register for RPL

Enrolments
Enrolment occurs through online
registration and/or personal enrolment
on the day of training with the payment
of course fees. Your details are
captured and stored securely, with the
results of your training being linked to
this enrolment information.
Refunds
All requests for refunds are to be made
in writing on a Refund Request this form
that needs to be accompanied by
supporting documentation where
applicable. This form can be obtained by

Participants are responsible for reading
